Wine tastings are held at the historic dining room of the homestead. Delicious snacks can be had either sitting in the garden or depending on the weather inside by a roaring fire.
Vynfields’ Pinot Noir is typically cropped at close to the low French Grand Cru levels (35 hectolitres per hectare). The resulting wine has flavours of ripe dark berry fruit, raspberry and black cherry with dark herbs. A classically proportioned elegant and concentrated Pinot Noir with seamless flow of dark fruits and perfumes. A wine with moderate tannins, and excellent balance..
Vynfields’ Reserve Pinot Noir is cropped at even lower levels, approximately 20 hectolitres per hectare. With more new oak the resulting wine is similar to the Estate Pinot Noir but has more intensity and layers of fruit. This wine is only made when the grapes are extremely good quality.

Vynfields’ Rosé wines are made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are taken from a selection of the Pinot Noir clones on the vineyard and therefore the wines are both high quality and representative of the whole vineyard. Because we make only small quantities of these wines and they sell almost completely from our cellar door we seldom enter wine competitions with them.
