2005 Reserve Pinot Noir
The wine: Bright deep red colour with fragrant rich dark plum, cherry, spice and floral bouquet.  The palate is full bodied with exquisite layers of berry fruit and earthy notes and complex rich flavours. The wine is silky and elegant with a lengthy smooth finish.

2006 Pinot Noir (Certified organic wine)
The wine: A delightful experience, starting with a deep glowing colour followed by flavours of vibrant black cherry, chocolate and silken roses .Yet there are also integrated savoury complex depths which flow into the long lingering after taste.

2007 Dry Classic Riesling (Certified organic wine)
The wine: Characteristic citrus and mineral bouquet and flavours. A fresh, vibrant wine with considerable breadth and richness combined with a silky lime, long finish.
A very versatile wine.

2006 Mad Rooster (Certified organic wine)
The wine: 100% Martinborough’s unknown grape. Purple red colour, rich cherry and berry flavours with a hint of caramel.




Red Rooster
The wine: A blend of 50% Martinborough’s “mystery grape” together with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. . The colour is unusually dark, being a dark red/purple almost black. Flavours include cherry, berry, spice and caramel. A Big wine!


Kaye and John will host you for tastings in the historic dining room of their homestead. WIne tastings and delicious snacks can be had either sitting in the garden or depending on the weather inside by a roaring fire.

The tastings are open every weekend throughout the year, and seven days per week in summertime, from mid December to the end of February or other times by appointment.

Sorry but the tastings are not open to large groups unless by prior arrangement.
